The company has launched a very competative product range in the region, providing a range of innovative products to suit different lifestyles as well as promote economic growth in East Africa. The Group is active in over 16 countries, mainly in Africa but also ranging as far east as Tajikistan. The Group needed to implement an internet based procurement system to help rationlise their suppliers, in order to meet their agressive pricing policy. The fact that iPOS is a web-browser application, along with the ability to do mobile approvals by phone in remote regions, was key to their decision making process.
