Dear Professional Advantage

Thank you so much for your kind donation. We are all so deeply grateful that you are here for vulnerable young people during their time of need.

It is hard to look back to think back on this past year without acknowledging how tough the last few months have been for us. They may have been for you too, as this pandemic has affected all of us in some way or another.

I am sad to say that the long-term effects of Coronavirus on young people - their mental health, job prospects, housing and safety - have been particularly severe.

Despite this, I cannot put into words how proud I am of the young people in our care for overcoming the additional and overwhelming barriers caused by the Coronavirus pandemic this year. They have acted with resolve, positivity, and courage, during what will continue to be a hugely troubling time.

In the face of extreme adversity, I am pleased to say that we have also seen incredible examples of human kindness. You have answered our pleas for support with such commitment and generosity, which truly motivates us all to carry on.

2021 will be different for us all, and it can easily feel like a hopeless situation that we find ourselves in. But your support gives me so much hope for the future – I know that with you by our side, we can continue helping young people move on from homelessness, whatever the circumstances.

Once again, I would like to say a sincere and heartfelt thank you for your incredible support. I wish you and your loved ones a safe and happy 2021.
