Business Improvement Awards 2011

 

The 'Business Improvement Awards' (BIA) recognise customers whose outstanding use of Professional Advantage Product & Business Process Management (BPM) within their organisation leads to an enabler of organisational improvement by:

 

  • Recognising excellence
  • Providing an internal motivation tool
  • Creating a stronger and more knowledgeable user community by sharing experiences
  • Driving the value of the company's FMS or BPM project


To enter the competition, you are required to have implemented a PA Product or BPM project during the 2010-2011 Financial Year. Your submission form will detail the project expectations, outcomes and any improvements that have occurred in work-place practices and functionality as a direct result of the implementation.

 

Award winners will be those with a strength of vision, excellence in execution and outcomes including value of return on investment.

Major Awards

Best Newcomer of the Year: this Business Improvement Award recognises new customers of Professional Advantage who have implemented a new project during the 2009 -2010 financial year and have identified the greatest improvements to their business. They have achieved overall high user acceptance of the new solution and whose project was executed within the given timeframe and budget.

 

Customer of the Year: this Business Improvement Award recognises (not sure on the bench mark that you have thought of that qualifies a client?)

 

 

Divisional Awards

Business Process Improvement: this Business Improvement Award recognises existing customers of Professional Advantage who have implemented a SunSystems Workflow or BPM application to their existing system and achieved significant technology and business benefits

 

Financial Management Excellence: Business Improvement Award for Financial Excellence recognises customers who have achieved measurable improvements in the financial area of the business.

 

Spend Control: Business Improvement Award for Operational Excellence recognises customers, whose project led to significant improvement in the operational area of their business, improving efficiencies, cost savings and ultimately improving profitability.

 

Not For Profit: Business Improvement Award for the NFP

 

Planning & Reporting: Business Improvement Award for Excellence in Planning & Reporting recognises customers who utilise reporting and analytics within their organisation to enhance profitability, while improving operations, decision making and management.

Rules & Dates

 

Agreement to rules

By becoming an entrant in the Professional Advantage 'Business Improvement Awards' entrants agree to accept and be bound by the rules. Compliance to the rules is the sole responsibility of the entrant.

 

Eligibility to enter

Participation is open to all clients who have implemented a FMS or BPM project in partnership with Professional Advantage. The projects should have been completed by 2009-2010 financial year end.

 

Category of entries

Projects can be entered in multiple categories if this is appropriate, however only one award per project may be granted. The judges reserve the right to move entries into a category other than that entered should this be deemed more appropriate. The judging panel may decide not to present an award in a particular category should entries be deemed insufficient.

 

Judging

The projects will be assessed by a panel of three judges of Professional Advantage. Judges will assess the entries based on the submitted material. In order to ensure a high standard of entrants we recommend you speak to your account managers about the implementation of your project. You are welcome to append up to five pages of supporting documentation with this entry.

 

Dates & Timing

Entries will be accepted for projects completed by 31 Jun 2010.

 

Questionnaires detailing the projects are to be submitted by Tuesday 30th November 2010.

 

Winners will be announced at a Professional Advantage event early 2011. Details will be announced shortly.

 

Promotion of winner

The winners must agree to give Professional Advantage rights to use basic details of the winning entry for publicity, marketing and promotional purposes.

Who can enter?

This competition is open to clients of Professional Advantage who have implemented a FMS or BPM project in partnership with Professional Advantage between 2009 – 2010 financial year.

 

How do I enter?

Firstly, register your participation online by completing a short form in the Registration of Interest section of this website. Once the project is complete, fill out the questionnaire in the Submission Questionnaire section of this website. The questionnaires must be received no later than Tuesday 30th November 2010.

 

What are the judging criteria?

Award winners will be based on strength of vision, excellence in execution and outcomes including value of return on investment.

 

Who is judging the competition?

The entries will be judged by the panel of three of Professional Advantage.

Awards & Prizes

Major Award: The major award winner will receive a short holiday for two on the Orient Express to Venice.

 

Divisional Prizes: Each divisional award winner will win an iPad or shopping vouchers of their choice.
